About
Hi, welcome on HackingSAP.com!
My name is Xavier Hacking and I am an SAP BI consultant working at Interdobs and I have a background in Industrial Engineering and Management Science (MSc.). During my studies I founded MacStudent.net as an answer to the lack of Apple Mac support at the Dutch universities.
I work with all kind of SAP BI related tools, mostly with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Lumira, Designer edition, SAP Lumira, Discovery edition, Analysis for Office and the SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform.
I published six books on several SAP BI tools. The most recent ones are about SAP Lumira, Discovery edition, SAP Lumira, Designer edition and SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards. Once in a while I also write an article for the BI Expert online magazine and the Interdobs blog.
In summer 2013 we started De Nederlandse BI Podcast, which is the Dutch BI Podcast, in which we discuss the latest (SAP) business intelligence related topics on a monthly base.
Other topics that I’m interested in and/or enjoy doing are lifehacking, poker, chess, gaming (StarCraft, Guitar Hero, Rocksmith, Skylines, Fifa, Overwatch, CoD, etc.), Apple, Pro-Wrestling (WWE, indies, IWC), freedom/Libertarianism, exploring and trying to understand the current sick economic/political/monetary system, mid-range running/trail racing, obstacle racing, Crossfit, bootcamping, supporting my football teams (Roda JC, Alemannia Aachen), playing piano and guitar, reading a lot of books and comics, going to the movies, visiting concerts and festivals (rock/metal/folk), traveling (USA! USA!), eating hamburgers and donuts and drinking Coca-Cola.
So enjoy reading my blog!
