It is often caused by\u00a0<a title=\"incompetence\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/incompetence\">incompetence<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"communication\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/communication\">communication<\/a>\u00a0<a title=\"failure\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/failure\">failure<\/a>, or a\u00a0<a title=\"complex\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/complex\">complex<\/a>\u00a0<a title=\"environment\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/environment\">environment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After a few weeks and several hopeful attempts\u00a0I&#8217;ve totally given up on this platform. <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/28231\/im-trying-today-i-really-am.html\">And<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/42751\/status-update-i-miss-the-old-scn.html\">I&#8217;m<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/32017\/status-update-this-new-community-is-a-lonely-place.html\">apparently<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/58322\/first-month-results-only-95-questions-in-bpc-nw.html\">not<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/50727\/where-will-the-new-scn-be.html\">the<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/53001\/is-the-new-community-really-better.html\">only<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/articles\/43185\/status-update-community-bye-bye.html\">one<\/a>. The problem with the previous SCN was\u00a0that it was hard to find stuff. But, when you finally found the right spaces it kinda worked\u00a0as you could easily browse the discussion topics you were interested in and see whether questions are already answered.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/questions\/67287\/index.html\">My Lumira question from 23 November<\/a> has now 6 (!!!) views and 0 replies. And there are <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.sap.com\/questions\/metadata\/21766\/sap-businessobjects-lumira.html\">lots of other Lumira topics<\/a> with even less views. If I look at the\u00a0Design Studio area I see the same thing. Most of the topics have max 10 views. On the old SCN this was a very popular space and people were almost fighting to provide help. Oh, and the upvoting feature isn&#8217;t used at all.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3144\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn1.png\" alt=\"scn1\" width=\"676\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn1.png 676w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn1-150x32.png 150w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn1-300x65.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The main problem is that the new SAP Community lacks any clear structure (yes, there are &#8216;tags&#8217;) and the bizarre\u00a0thing seems to be that this is by design! I get the\u00a0feeling that it doesn&#8217;t want to be\u00a0like a classic forum for some unclear reason.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If I want to go to the Design Studio stuff I need to do the following: First use\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/go.sap.com\/community\/topic.html\">Browse Community<\/a> page to find the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/go.sap.com\/community\/topic\/businessobjects-design-studio.html\">Design Studio Community<\/a>\u00a0(but why can&#8217;t I save my favorite communities?).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3143\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2.png\" alt=\"scn2\" width=\"1145\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2.png 1145w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2-150x74.png 150w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2-300x148.png 300w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2-768x378.png 768w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2-1024x504.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.hackingsap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/scn2-50x25.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1145px) 100vw, 1145px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHere I see an overview of some Design Studio related links, and at the bottom a few recent questions and blogs. No additional information on the questions (number of replies, answered or not etc.) and only five of them. This gives me all the blogs and all the questions. But again, no information on the status of these questions. Now I can see the number of views, replies and status and I can filter on answered\/unanswered questions. I now search for &#8220;Design Studio&#8221;, click the first question, and click the tag in the question to see all questions with this tag. And, what is the relation between the tags and the sub communities, or is there none?<\/p>\n<p>Besides the issues on finding stuff, I really don&#8217;t like how inefficient this site uses its space. You have to scroll a lot as there isn&#8217;t that much information displayed on a single page.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s try\u00a0again next year, maybe they fixed it. In the meantime, as I don&#8217;t want to miss any good blogs that people, I setup a\u00a0RSS reader to stay up to date.
